Cleaning Sheepskin Rug

Sheepskin rugs hefty job cleaning all by itself, and a lot of buyers first time a rug is not too sure how to clean carpet properly. Depending on whether or not you synethic or 100% natural sheepskin rug, or you can hand wash or put it in the car.

First I would like to stay away from using any water purification and fluid just yet. I have an old trick that I like to use in cleaning sheepskin on the carpet. First get your hands on a hard wire brush and a portable vacuum, or your big vacuum. If you use your big vacuum hose, I recommend covering with stockings, or something like that. Take a wire brush and give your sheepskin rug cleaning beautiful from head to toe. After you brush it gently run a vacuum over all and hopefully you'll get the most out of manure.

If you managed to get a spot on the carpet or have to clean it with water and a solution, then let go to details. Some people tend to put their sheepskin rug in a washing machine, but I do not recommend it. This will be good for a couple of times, but your carpet will quickly lose its shine and plushness. If you need to clean the carpet in the water, then I suggest you do a cold bath and use a cleaning solution that sheepskin friendly. Gently wash the mat in water for 5 minutes, then hang to dry for 7-10 hours. Once your carpet dry run your wire brush through it until he comes back to life.

Some Sheepskin rugs can be machine washed, and they will talk to the tag. If so, be sure to wash in cold water only and never, never put it in the dryer. If you want to leave it up to local dry cleaning professionals should be able to take care of your rug. Dry Cleaning will charge you a decent amount for these types of cleaning pads, and if you have anything above the size of the Quad is certainly worth a lot.

There are several solutions to clean, especially designed for sheepskin rugs and other similar mechanisms. You can use good old Google, or contact your local dry cleaners to see what they recommend. I know that this method of cleaning is not the most ideal, but if you love your sheepskin rug you want to keep it clean and soft as long as possible.
